Afrofest 2013 ; One Africa


From the people who brought you “Africa Unveiled” , “Faces of Africa” and “This is my Africa ,” we are back this time with “One Africa”The McMaster African Student Association presents: Afrofest- One Africa. Afrofest is the largest, most dynamic and popular African culture show of the year. The aim of the show is to celebrate African’s true heritage through music, dance, fashion, theatre and more! The goal of the show is to educate while entertaining and engaging the audience. It is easily the most anticipated show of the year, attended by hundreds, and you definitely won’t want to miss it! Tickets are going fast and the show ALWAYS sells out, so make sure you get yours ASAP!

Refreshments will be served at the show during intermission.

The show will be hosted by: Femi Lawson, Martha Hagos, and Celestina Aleobua!

The show includes:
– Theatrical Performances depicting several African Cultures

– Talented designers will be displaying their beautiful pieces including collections from Haus of ASEM / Asikere Afana / Simply 3legante Designs / Sankofa

– African Dances

– Amazing Musical performances

– Spoken word and Poetry

– Make-Up by Cynthia Boyede, Beverly Francis and Kimberly Cross (

– Music by DJ DYNAMIX
