Flyer by Ripple Idea Co.

Greater Toronto’s West African community keeps growing everyday, same as the food business! There are many restaurants and fast food spots you can go to sit in and enjoy or pick up your favorite plate of African Salad (Abacha and Ugba) or that warm bowl of fish peppersoup, don’t get us started with the mouth watering peanut soup and rice balls, waakye with a side of shito, Suya, Jollof rice (Ghanaian & Nigerian). We are still battling which country has the best but you get it! The list goes on and on!

We visited a few restaurants / fast food joints here and we think you should know them! We’ve also included a fun contest to win a free meal ($50 worth) from one of these restaurants! 🙂 Keep reading for details.

I miss everything, back home all the vegetables and fruits are super fresh so the taste cannot be compared to the Western world. When I went a month ago the first meal I had and was craving was suya, garri and ground nuts! 😍 after that it was all about all the fufu’s, efo, okro, gbegeri, assorted meat, fish and SNAIL! Although I was upset to learn that goody goody and La Casera were extinct 😢 but Chapman became my friend
