Get to know CeeCee

Lying amongst the stars and changing the world  is our very own superwoman Miss Chanda CeeCee Chilanga, not only is she a fantastic member of the KScope community, but CeeCee is also the Co-founder of Afro Social Centric and Dapper Style Mint

Afro Social Centric (ASC) is a platform that connects people to the Black community in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). They connect people through highlighting Black-owned businesses, Black-organized events, and amplifying Black voices within the community

Dapper Style Mint is a different kind is Styling Agency that goes beyond fashion. Founded by Chanda ‘Ceecee Styles’ Chilanga in 2014, their mission is to ignite confidence within people.

Inspired by building connections. CeeCee began her pursuit into entrepreneurship, she believes humanity is centred on relationships and building meaningful relationships or facilitating them is her contribution to humanity.

There is no doubt that CeeCee is most passionate about, making people feel amazing in the skin they’re in.

She also pointed out that she is extremely passionate about Black people, particularly entrepreneurs.

Seeing them thrive is the ultimate joy and being able to give them access to the opportunities that come her way truly makes her happy.

As a strong believer in economic empowerment, she views aiding, supporting and empowering each as the key to prosperity

To cut it short the world needs more CeeCee’s and we are more than honoured to have her as part of our community. As she plans to grow her network, especially in the fashion space, and connect with like-minded thinkers and enterprising people, we will be sure to be with her along the way.

The long term goal is to build a physical studio space not only to conduct her styling business but as a creative hub for Black entrepreneurs to build the community.

When asked what she loved about being part of the KScope Community she had this to say: “The community that comes with being in the company of people who want to see the Black community win and grow is what I love”
