KScopeWomen - Nohémie Mawaka

“A leader is best when people barely know he exists when his work is done, his aim fulfilled,
they will say: we did it ourselves.”

– Lao Tzu

All Entrepreneurs are trailblazers, leaders in their own right and Nohémie Mawaka
Is no exception to the rule.

Originally from the DRC, the now San Diego based serial entrepreneur is greatly interested in innovation and the global economic development of women and women-owned enterprises with a particular focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sub-Saharan Africa as a whole.

Nohemie Mawaka founded Stats Congo to help the mothers and newborns in the Democratic Republic of Congo, who face one of the highest mortality rates in the world.  She is also the founder of Aluuka

“I’m most passionate about what I do, is the ability to use my God-given creativity and technology to pragmatically solve some of the world’s biggest problems hindering the growth of women in sub-Saharan Africa specifically in the DRC.” – Nohémie Mawaka

She is driven by the urge to leave a legacy that will help to inspire women going forward. She has created a global healthcare app called Aluuka and is planning to scale her Congolese honey brand through the west coast, all while working to better herself for God. She truly is a woman of virtue.

Nohémie Mawaka hopes to be able to spread the word about Aluuka and Lubembo honey through the Kscope community, as she feels that it is a platform that gives aspiring young Africans the hope and tools to execute on their business ideas, and gain exposure!

We, at Kscope, are happy to have you as part of our ever growing community.
