Description
Founded in the summer of 2019 by Chef Marc Kusitor , ChopTime Catering specializes in serving iconic Afro-Caribbean homestyle dishes through a slightly modernized lens and blending restaurant technique with African diaspora tradition. The main motivation behind starting this business was to educate new people on the cultures that I live and love and cuisines that I have grown up eating all the while providing others with a small taste of home and nostalgia.
Currently offering catering services for groups up to 15 people
All orders and payment must be made at minimum 72hrs in advance

I will always be a return customer for his great blend of flavours and his ability to stay true to the foundation of the culture through the dishes.

Marc does an incredible job of making authentic Ghanian and Haitian food accessible without compromising the flavours or quality. His comfort food dishes (hot honey chicken wings, mac and cheese, cornbread, the list goes on) are equally delicious. I’ve made a point of making sure his dishes makes an appearance at any family dinner and I make sure they know who to call when they inevitably ask where they can get more. On top of providing amazing food, Marc and ChopTime Catering are born professionals who take customer satisfaction seriously. They ensure everything gets to you on time and maintains great communication throughout the entire interaction. I can’t recommend them more highly; do yourself a favour and get a plate ASAP!

I first placed an order on October 2020 for my son’s 1st birthday and since that first experience; ChopTime has been catering for me from birthdays to get-together. The food is delicious and prepared with care! ChopTime is extremely generous with its portion size; your people better come hungry! I’m Haitian and I’m happy that I found someone that CAN cook authentic Haitian meals as our signature djondjon rice (black mushroom rice) and mac & cheese. For my jollof lovers, ChopTime catering got you!

His cooking is a great introduction to Ghanaian and Haitian cuisine, and he makes the best chicken wings I have had- ever! My personal favourite is also the mac and cheese- to die for. I could not recommend ChopTime more, Chef Marc is a professional who’s passion for cooking really comes out in the taste of his dishes. Highly recommend!

April 12, 2021 at 11:31 pmIt’s one thing to have delicious food (which ChopTime definitely does) but when you add the professionalism and attention to detail that comes with every interaction, that is when you know you’ve got something special.
I’d confidently recommend ChopTime to anyone, for any type of occasion. I’ve had the pleasure of having their Affrican and North American and Haitian inspired dishes and they all were incredible. Just writing about it makes me want to place another order. Definitely some of my favorite food in the city.
