SheHive is She Leads Africa’s travelling networking and learning boot camp! One set out to help female African entrepreneurs and career professionals to attain their goals.
SheHiveToronto was from July 13th till the 16th, at the Centre for Social Innovation (Annex)! I was able to attend the last day and I found it insightful and inspiring.

I had a warm welcome by Ellen Houston, Programs Manager at She leads Africa and right after took a seat to join in on the fun. The first segment which included group sessions on business marketing and pitching was hosted by Co-founder Afua Osei.

She talked a bit about her everyday routine and how’s she’s always on the move! Gave us tips and lessons on how to get our businesses out there, meet with the right brands, how to go about collaborations and more.
A few vendors were set up and during the mini breaks, we went round and checked them out.
